How it works
Upload a PDF and pick a compression level. The tool scans every page for embedded JPEG images, decodes each one, and re-saves it at your chosen quality — smaller quality settings produce a smaller file. Everything else in the PDF (text, fonts, vector graphics, page layout) is left exactly as it was.
A note on what this tool won't do
It won't shrink a PDF that's already mostly text, and it deliberately skips images with transparency or unusual encodings rather than risk a visually broken result. For PDFs that are essentially scanned photos of pages, expect the biggest savings; for text-heavy documents, expect little to no change.
