Why this stays free with no size limit

Many PDF tools process your file on their own servers, which costs them money per file — that's usually why they cap free file sizes and charge for anything larger. This tool does the merging inside your own browser instead, so there's no server cost to recover, no per-file limit, and your files are never uploaded anywhere in the first place.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on file size or number of PDFs?+

No artificial limit — since merging happens entirely on your own device rather than a server, there's no subscription tier or upload cap to hit. The only real ceiling is your device's own memory: merging a handful of typical PDFs is instant, but dozens of very large files (hundreds of MB each) can slow down or strain an older phone or laptop.

What order will the merged pages be in?+

The same order the files are listed in above — use the ↑/↓ arrows next to each file to rearrange them before merging. Pages within each individual PDF keep their original order.

Will this work on password-protected PDFs?+

Not currently — encrypted or password-protected PDFs can't be read without the password, so they'll need to be unlocked first (in whatever tool created them, or a PDF reader that supports removing a password) before merging.

Does merging reduce PDF quality?+

No. Pages are copied as-is from each source file — text stays sharp and vector content stays vector; nothing is re-rasterized or recompressed in the process.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?+

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript — your PDFs are read, merged, and downloaded without ever being sent to a server.
